We conduct environmental reviews to measure our environmental performance and to ensure compliance with statutory requirements applicable to our business activities.
We do our utmost to promote environmental awareness amongst our employees and suppliers, actively encouraging them to adopt best environmental practice.
We use our buying power to encourage suppliers to adopt environmental best practice.
The Environmental Management System is maintained by a programme of Internal Audits.
We commit to, where possible, sourcing all wood based products under the FSC certification scheme. Where this is not possible we will take all reasonable steps to ensure the products are obtained from sustainable sources.
This policy is reviewed at least once per year at our Management Review meetings or as required, in response to changes in the nature and/or size of our business and to changes in legislation and incident or hazard information.
This statement of policy intent is available to staff, customers, and suppliers upon request.
