This was a small project for us although significant for the main contractor as they required a nurses station and 20 high acoustic privacy screens within two weeks.
We designed and manufactured the screens to act as privacy windows to each bedroom. Each screen incorporated an interstitial blind operated from one side mechanically but with a magnetic key on the reverse. A magnetic key could open and close the blinds without the need to perforate the glass. This allowed the privacy the patient required whilst satisfying the sanitary and cleaning regime adopted by Wythenshawe Hospital.
Our nurses station was manufactured to a tight budget, that met with the clients curved shape requirement.
