Carillion £75 million contract for Liverpool Football Club’s Main Stand associated improvement works. Work on the project, which will add around 8,500 seats to the Main Stand and increase the overall capacity of Anfield Stadium to some 54,000, is expected for completion during the 2016/2017 football season.
Main contractor Carillion has appointed RW Joinery to manufacture, supply and install Doorsets and Joinery to the VIP and VVIP receptions and function rooms as part of the £75 million contract for the Main Stand improvement works.
The contract, worth £375,000 to us, was awarded following an intensive design and development meetings and negotiation following a competitive tender. The new works will see us installing solid timber flooring finished to match our veneered stained and polished American White Oak doorsets. Our work on the project will commence in April 2016 and will finish in June 2016.
Scheduling and manufacture is currently underway with an anticipated delivery to the site late April 2016. RW Joinery aim to be a leading partner in the co-ordination between Carillion and their other sub-contractors including two other joinery fit out companies.

In addition to securing the VIP and VVIP packages RW Joinery has also been selected by Cadgrange from Liverpool to supply the remaining doorsets to the main stand. The 320 doorset package will run concurrently with the VIP packages.
