RW Joinery Appointed Doorset Manufacturer and Joinery Contractor to Building 8 First Street for Carillion Construction

We are pleased to publicise that we have been selected by Carillion Construction to supply high specification and luxury finished doorsets and joinery as part of the flagship development in First Street Manchester.

The building is predominantly office accommodation from level one to six with the ground floor consisting of a number of individual retail units, reception, amenities and service yard.

The envelope consists of expanded anodised aluminium mesh panels and there are Double height `Winter Gardens located on first, third and fifth floor to the north and south elevations with full height glazing.

This 20 week programme shall see RW Joinery design, manufacture and install 283 high performance doorsets including American White Oak veneered and painted finishes, 2700mm high single leaf doorsets including high acoustic and fire certification.

In addition we shall provide external flooring to the Winter Gardens, a timber mezzanine floor, factory finished blind boxes and the normal scope of timber trims and FF&E fittings.

This is the latest in a series of projects we have been involved in on First Street in Manchester including quite recently a Vita Student Accommodation, and adjoining Hotel scheme making this particular area of real estate a very successful RWJ project.
