RW Joinery Helping Build Tomorrow Project

RW Joinery Helping Build The “Tomorrow Project”

We are proud to announce that our services have been selected as part of the Tomorrow Project. The project is a 10-storey building incorporating a Premier Inn hotel and creative office space which is set to be one of the newest additions to Manchester’s vibrant MediaCityUK.

The project will front onto Broadway and totals over 100,000 sq ft. The £20m project includes four floors out of ten will be specifically dedicated to a 112-bed Premier Inn hotel which will help to raise the prestige of the area as one of the UKs leading tourist locations. Additionally, the office space created by the project, which includes dedicated studio space, will help meet the ever increasing demand for professional facilities of the growing creative and digital industries based in the area.

Tomorrow will offer businesses a blank canvas, enabling these entities to design their space in unique way to meet their specific requirements. The offices are going to be designed with a studio/warehouse theme, where we have been influential in the construction of the final finishes.

Polished Birch plywood wall panelling incorporating engraved signage within the doorsets, bright fluorescent flashes of orange rubber wall panelling adjacent to black rubber walls within the corridors all form part of our package where we have been instrumental in turning the dream into a reality.

Internal six metre high pivot doors, snug seating and a bright orange reception desk shall compliment the design

When completed, Tomorrow will enhance the vibrant commercial options already afforded by MediaCityUK. This presently include, The Greenhouse, The Pie Factory, White, Orange and Blue Towers, The Landing, Digital World Centre, Quay West, The Victoria and the Alexandra.

Whilst many are aware that MediaCityUK is home to the BBC, ITV, Coronation Street and the University of Salford, they are often unaware that the area is also home to some 200 other smaller media and tech based companies. The completion of Tomorrow offers these companies an opportunity to expand whilst also welcoming new additions to their number.

We look forward to our involvement on the project in conjunction with the services of Bowmer & Kirkland.

“helping our client achieve their vision has been a demanding but particularly exciting task…… all my time at RW Joinery I have not been asked to design a rubber faced wall and engraved multilayer Birch veneer faced door leaves with full sized people and inlay the figures with stainless steel to protect their modesty……”
